Ukrzaliznytsia will additionally purchase 10 new passenger cars, which will form the Kiev-Mariupol train, which will run daily. This is reported by the company’s press service.
It is noted that the decision to amend the company’s financial plan, which provides for the purchase, was approved at a government meeting on July 17.
UZ assured that there will be two new cars. SV and 8 compartments — will be delivered in the near future.
It is noted that thanks to this rolling stock, train No. 9/10 will run daily. Now it runs every other day.
On March 31, Ukrzaliznytsia launched a new train of the “night express” category No. 9/10 Kiev-Mariupol.
In total, 7 long-distance passenger trains run to Mariupol: No. 104, 84 and 10 Kiev — Mariupol, No. 96 Bakhmut — Mariupol, No. 142 Mariupol — Odessa and No. 95 Kharkiv — Mariupol, No. 70 Lviv — Mariupol.
