In Mariupol and Novoazovsk, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate, together with activists of the Movement of the First, held a series of talks aimed at preventing child traffic injuries in winter.
During the meeting, the inspectors explained in detail the rules of behavior on the roads to the children, emphasizing the need to cross the roadway only at pedestrian crossings, after making sure that all cars stopped.
Traffic police officers drew the attention of schoolchildren to the danger of entertainment near roads, in particular, riding down slides with access to the roadway, as well as tubing attached to cars, explaining in detail the possible tragic consequences.
In addition, the law enforcement officers clearly demonstrated to the children the principle of operation of retroreflective elements and urged them to place flickers on backpacks and outerwear.
The students took an active part in traffic knowledge quizzes, as well as participated in discussions and asked their questions.
